Who we are:
Otlum is a platform where youth rise together to create, connect, and tell their own stories.
Through writing, photography, videography, and music, they harness digital skills to express culture, preserve heritage, earn a living, and create a lasting impact through their voices. Every voice holds a story.
Here, young people unlock the storyteller within and keep their heritage alive through powerful digital storytelling. Otlum bridges the digital divide by equipping women, girls, and youth with digital storytelling skills — empowering them to document, share, and celebrate culture through their own lens.
Be Part of the Change
Change starts with you. Every small step, every kind action, every bold choice creates a ripple. Together, we can shape a better tomorrow. Don’t wait for change — be the change.
Our Programs
At Otlum, we offer intimate, hands-on training in four core creative disciplines—writing, photography, videography, and music. Each cohort of 5–10 learners builds real digital portfolios and connects with culture through storytelling.
Skill + Story
You’ll learn both technique and context, how to wield a camera, pen, or mic and how to frame stories that reflect your roots and experiences.
Project-Based Learning
Every student completes a tangible creative project—a photo series, a short film, a musical piece, or a written story.
Cultural Lens
We encourage projects that document oral histories, traditions, music, or everyday life—so that each project becomes a capsule of heritage.
